Mt Tiger Traditional Shoot

The legendary Mt Tiger Traditional Shoot continues….held annually, around September, over a full weekend this tournament has been running since 2009 and offers Archers a chance to honor the past.
Traditional equipment only (no compounds or sights, any arrows) and targets include Long Walk; Snap shooting; 3D’s and a variety of Specialty Targets

Eligibility
This is an open tournament for archers shooting traditional archery equipment only
This means no compound bows, and no sights on any bow.
Any arrows are acceptable.
Recurves, Longbows, Horsebows, Historical, Stickbows are welcome.
Divisions
Longbow: Mens, Ladies, Junior
Recurve: Mens, Ladies, Junior
Specialties: All entrants in one division
Cubs and Peewees; (depending on numbers) recurve and longbow shoot in same division.
We reserve the right to combine divisions if entry numbers are low.
Entry Fee
Seniors;$40 per weekend (Day rate option—$25 per day)
Juniors/Cubs/ Peewees; $30 (Day rate option—$15 per day)
Family (2 adults & 2 juniors/cubs); $70 per weekend (Day rate option—$50 per day)
Gilligans (Mulligans cousin, will be available to buy so you can redeem your lousy shots) available $2 ea
The Course
It will be a 30 target course — Long Walk targets one day (generally Saturday)
20 targets the next (usually Sunday) plus specialty targets.
The course is set out so as archers pass the clubhouse, they can stop for lunch. The archers will pass the clubhouse twice during the round.
Archers must be off the course by 4pm on Saturday
Reduced number of targets on Sunday
Both days score will count toward competition total
The course may be muddy. Gumboots and wet weather clothing is recommended.

There will be drinks and snacks available to purchase
Lunch will be available to purchase
We do not have eftpos, cash will be needed
Bring some old arrows for those ‘tricky’ targets!
Our legendary dinner will be available on Saturday evening at $15 per head; $8 for Little ones
Recognition for traditional attire (that’s clothes!)
